Research notes

[7 Aug 2026] Brought in from a gravestone in the Prince Albert NG Kerk cemetery. eGGSA transcribe the stone as 'Johanna Klosina Olivier 1850-1898'; the family tree holds a person of that name whose birth AND death years both agree exactly. SHE WAS FOUND BY HER MAIDEN NAME: a stone gives a married woman her husband's surname and the tree gives her her father's, so matching on the name carved on the stone misses every married woman in the cemetery. HOW SHE CONNECTS: 1 step - child of Gabriel Johannes RossouwM - who is Gabriel Johannes RossouwM [PER-001546], already here.

These are working notes, not finished prose: they carry the reasoning, the corrections and the things still marked to verify. They are kept here so the page itself can read as what is known.
