[FS, 1 Aug 2026] K4L5-C1V, 1824-1881. SECOND WIFE of Jacobus van ZylM, married at POTCHEFSTROOM, TRANSVAAL, on 27 JULY 1840 - and that date and place matter well beyond this marriage: they are the first hard evidence of him NORTH of the Orange. Twelve children. She is the 'Mej. van Dyk' the family history names as his wife, which is why Susanna Catharina OosthuizenL is absent from that sheet: it was written down THIS line.
