Research notes
[SRC-074] Son of Gerolm of Trieste. NOTE: a "Vincent Charles MarincowitzL" took transfer of Wit Plaats in 1922 (PER-000045) - not obviously this man, but the given name Vincent runs in this branch [TO VERIFY].
29 Jul 2026: linked to tree (matched on name + birth year during the farm-relatives pull).
[SRC-008] 31 Jul 2026, from the SAG descendant report: birth date refined from 1857 to 1857-11-23.
[5 Aug 2026, SRC-290/289] DEAD BY 12 APRIL 1892, on the reading that a Cape death notice lists the children who survive. His mother's notice (SRC-290) names eight children as majors and he is not among them, though he was born 1857 and would have been 34. The same notice's own internal check supports the reading: his grandfather's 1848 notice (SRC-289) lists five children and omits exactly the two who had already died. AN INFERENCE FROM ABSENCE, so it is marked as one and the date field carries a 'before' bound rather than a year. [TO VERIFY]
These are working notes, not finished prose: they carry the reasoning, the corrections and the things still marked to verify. They are kept here so the page itself can read as what is known.
