Klipfontein A titled and partitioned on one day

Four pieces assembled over sixty years - 1879, 1896, 1897 and 1902 - were surveyed as one farm in August 1938 and given a Certificate of Amended Title on 29 August 1939 (deed 9311) to the joint estate of the late G.M. Steyl born Alberts and her surviving spouse. The same day, Portion 1, Klipfontein Oost, was partitioned off to him by deed 9314. Consolidation and division in one instrument-day is what an estate being wound up looks like on the ground.
