[SRC-096] 127 days out of Texel. She lay at the Cape until 13 October and then went on to Batavia, arriving 24 December 1685. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME ANYONE IN THIS FAMILY SAW AFRICA. Whether he stayed ashore or sailed on with her is not recorded [TO VERIFY].
