[SRC-074] At Uitenhage. Gerolm Marincowitz was born in TRIESTE on 11 February 1805 - the Marincowitz name reaches the Karoo from the Habsburg Adriatic, not from the Netherlands. Ten children. Their eldest, Nicolaas James, married an Oosthuizen at Willowmore in 1866, and from there the two families are joined for four generations.
