A sworn statement before attorney Klaas Doedes Haak itemises the cost of ringing Botterkraal with jackal-proof wire: Caroluskraal PS80, F.S. Marincowitz PS90, G. Raubenheimer PS60, T.L. van Eck PS75, Estate late P.J. Swanepoel PS98, plus 2,000 paces of internal wire at PS160 - PS563 in all. An accidental cadastral document: a farm’s whole boundary described by who was on the other side of it. KAB: MOOC 66870, 1939.
