A township is laid out for Zeekoegat, and comes to nothing
1915 · local · Prince Albert
Plans were drawn for a full village layout at Zeekoegat in 1915. Nothing came of them. By then the place already had a hotel, a bar, a shop, a butchery, a post office, a smithy, two general dealers, a school and a hostel, and a steam-driven wheat mill on the Traka River.
