Burial ground CEM-051

Vrisgewaagd 152_1, Bloukrans farm cemetery

2 graves recorded · 1918

KEPT FOR ITS FAMILIES, NOT FOR ITS GROUND - this project does not hold this farm. [FAMILY] Look at all prins albert rural cemetery for connection and include, even if farm not on project. The families on these stones that this project follows are: Strydom. That is a connection by SURNAME and district, not an identification of any individual; where a person here is later matched to the tree on name and dates, their grave row will say so. [12 Aug 2026] The coordinate comes from the album page's own GPS line, read as "GPS Approx: -33 12.733, 21 50.483" and converted from degrees and decimal minutes. The first harvest missed it: its parser matched only the plain "GPS: -33 21.040, 22 38.091" form and eGGSA also write "GPS Approx:", "GPS: +/-" and, in one case, a stray comma after the degrees. EGGSA THEMSELVES MARK THIS ONE APPROXIMATE, and it is recorded as they give it. It locates the ground, not the graves.

The photographs are eGGSA's and stay on their site; this project links to them and does not copy them. Their albums are expressly incomplete, so a name missing here is not evidence that person is not buried here.
