PER-001523's note, taken from FamilySearch in August, already carried MARTHA MAGDALENA SOEKOE, and the register agrees; a reading and an index reached the same word from opposite directions. *** IT IS NOT THE BIRTH OF THE MAN SHOT AT REMHOOGTE, THOUGH IT WAS TAKEN FOR IT FOR AN HOUR. *** Frans first said 'its this guy LKFF-938' and then withdrew it: 'i do not think this is our guy from the grave'. The man of this entry is PER-001945; the grave is PER-000518; the two are held apart. What this entry does settle is his parentage and the reading of his mother's surname.
