Either they lie outside this block of vacant farms or the reading of the Uitkyk diagram's neighbours needs re-taking. [TO VERIFY] | *** [20 Aug 2026] THE LEADING NUMBERS IN THE AREAS TABLE ARE OUDTSHOORN FARM NUMBERS, CONFIRMED AGAINST THE 1879 PLAN. *** SG 2440 OB (SRC-493) letters the same farms with the same numbers: 7 Botha's Hoek Lot 36, 8 Tiger Berg Lot 37, 9 Tafel Berg Lot 38, 10 Spitzkop Lot 39, 12 Uitkyk Lot 40, 51 Klipberg Lot 24, 53 Schildergat Lot 26, 55 Wildehondskloof Lot 42, 84 Klipesbosch Lot 18. Two of those can be checked against their polygons and match within one per cent - Klipberg 1179 morgen against 1,023 ha, Schildergat 557 morgen against 480 ha. | AND ONE NUMBER IN THIS ROW WAS MISREAD: DANZERS KLOOF IS 44, NOT 14. The 1879 plan letters it '44 [Da]nzers Kloof Lot 28' in the F.C. Chubbelaars, and Oudtshoorn farm 44 draws 1,134 ha. The transcription above is left as it was written and corrected here rather than edited, so the misreading stays visible.
