Die sitasie soos dit gegee is
1544 morgen 361 square roods in the FIELD CORNETCY OF TRAKA, "being KLEIN ELANDSFONTEIN part of portion of the farm Rondable, TRANSFERRED TO STEPHANUS JOHANNES THERON ON THE 17TH JULY 1872 (No. 208)". That is the third document to name Transfer 208 of 17 July 1872 as the deed that separated the Theron share from the Oosthuysen share of the 1868 joint grant. *** AND A MARINCOWITZ TAKES IT. *** Written at the foot in a later hand: "16th May 1934 - GEROLM SAMUEL MARINCOWITZ", and the Rondabel deduction table (SRC-220 verso) gives Portion 7 the deed 16.5.1934-3875. So a Marincowitz bought Klein Elandsfontein out of the old Theron share in 1934 - one of the three anchor families taking ground on one of the five farms. Surveyed by J. Loubser, the same surveyor whose pencilled "trek" across Rondabel appears on the 1872 and 1900 sheets and was cancelled under Ord. 13 of 1917.
Woordeliks gehou. Hierdie projek weerspreek gepubliseerde genealogieë en stel 'n familie se eie mondelinge oorlewering reg, so elke bewering moet nagegaan kan word deur iemand wat nie in die vertrek was nie.
