Navorsingsnotas

[FS, 5 Aug 2026] Son of Louis Daniel Francois van ZylM (PER-001385), who held Klipgat No. 114 to his death. Took ZOUTWATER, Portion 1 of Klipgat No. 114, on deed 8820 of 15 November 1916 - one of ten near-equal shares transferred out of his father's estate on consecutive deeds that day. The deed as transcribed gives the initials only, 'Christian H. van Zyl'; the full name and dates come from FamilySearch GBZL-B3R. He married ELSJE CATHARINA MAGDALENA STORM (LHZQ-VRT, 1868-1945) at PRINS ALBERT on 25 April 1887 and they had thirteen children - a Prince Albert marriage that places the family in this district independently of the deeds. [TO VERIFY - deed 8820 would give the name in full]

These are working notes, not finished prose: they carry the reasoning, the corrections and the things still marked to verify. They are kept here so the page itself can read as what is known.
