Pieter Egbertus married MARGARETHA CORNELIA BOTHA, b. 6 April 1783 at the Cape. So the family is GERMAN, from Cologne or Alsace, landing in the George district, and the spellings Kleu, Klue and Klew are one name. [TO VERIFY] The place trail is George and Georgestad in the early 1800s, then UNIONDALE and Buffelsklip from the 1860s, then Aberdeen, Willowmore, Uitenhage, Graaff-Reinet and Oudtshoorn.
