Item 9, the children, THIRTEEN NAMES with the marginal note 'Allen zyn meerderjarig': Okker Jacobus, Johanna Jacomina, Susanna Catharina, Adriana Cecilia, JAN ADRIAAN, Petrus Martinus, Gert Adriaan, Jacobus Johannes, Catharina Petronella, Cornelis Andries, Dina Magdalena, Johannes Hendrik Oosthuysen, and in a second column 'Martha Jacoba / Maria Magdalena Oosthuysen.' - read as ONE daughter with four names (PER-000131), the surname written once, WHICH THE COUNT CONFIRMS: her husband's notice a year later (SRC-077) also names thirteen. | WHAT THE DOCUMENT SETTLES: her death date 9 March 1858 (the model's date, now on its original); her Sneeuberg birth; her age, back-computing birth to about the end of May 1792, six months before her Graaff-Reinet baptism (SRC-555); and JAN ADRIAAN as what her son was called - the third original to write it, after the father's notice and the register, exactly as 5b records. | WHAT IT PUTS UNDER PRESSURE: no OCKERT ALMERO among the children, in either parent's notice, and 'allen meerderjarig' cannot hold for a boy born 8 July 1839. See LEAD-0303. It equally cannot hold for a JOHANNES HENDRIK born 1840~ - yet he IS listed, so his birth belongs before about March 1837 and the model's circa-1840 is wrong by three or more years. His row's [TO VERIFY] on the name order also closes: the notice writes JOHANNES HENDRIK, as Pottas does.
