Verbatim: 'de 12 Jaaren en 9 Maanden recognitie hectende ten lasten van JOHANNES ZWANEPOEL DE OUDE, op de plaats genaamt FORTUIN, geleegen in het ROGGEVELD en welke door hem Swanepoel reeds IN DEN JARE 1775 is verlaaten geworden'. And: 'de aan de Compagnie competeerende Rd:s 123:- aan achterstallige recognitie, hectende op de plaatsen DE UITKYK EN DE RIETKUIL, uit den boedel van FRANS KRUGER publiecq verkogt aan dies voorige Bezitter LAURENS ERASMUS'. PROBABLY NOT OUR RIETKUIL. This project holds Rietkuil No. 119 (Kouka), PAR-000053. The names around this passage - Koggemans Clooff, the Roggeveld - place it in the Roggeveld/Bokkeveld country, and Rietkuil is a common name.
