[SRC-600] Almost certainly the JACOB CLOETE who stood witness, with Johanna Hendrina Cloete, at his granddaughter Christina Botma's Tulbagh baptism for a child born 30 September 1794. A witness column tracks kin, and the two documents reach the same man from opposite directions. [TO VERIFY] that the witness and the father are one person; only the name and the family join them.
