Anna Magdalena Oosthuizen, born 14 August 1818, baptised from 'aan onder Traca' - the lower Traka - with her uncle Cornelis Andries Oosthuizen among the witnesses. The family's first dated trace north of the mountains: between the Olifants they left and the Beaufort registers they appear in the next year, they stood on the Traka. The register's own words make this a DWELLING waypoint, not a church one: 'aan onder Traca' is the stated abode, 5's exception for a register that says so.
